Overview

The Advanced Certificate in Managing the Media in a Sports Environment is an advanced level course which provides education for Athletes, Coaches and Administrators in how to effectively manage the media. This workshop will give you the tools to build a healthy and respectful relationship with the media, bringing better publicity and the chance to earn higher rewards off the track and field.

Course Facilitator – Bruce Roberts

Bruce has been involved in the media for more than 25 years working in Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Europe.
As a facilitator he specialises in presentation and media skills and has coached business and political leaders and many of Australia’s top athletes. He’s worked across numerous sectors including banking, IT, telecommunications, sports, publishing and government.

Bruce has worked one-on-one with senior management and coaching staff at Australia’s leading sporting clubs. He’s coached federal and state ministers and senior management and staff at top ASX companies.  Bruce has spent the past dozen years working for WIN News, anchoring and writing more than 15,000 primetime bulletins.
