The Advanced Certificate Cultural Awareness for Sporting Organisations is essential learning for all sporting Club Administrators and Coaches across Australia. The course provides an opportunity for participants to hear about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Culture and history and to start to understand the impact that colonisation has had and how this has lead to disadvantage. Leon is an experienced Indigenous Education Professional with a demonstrated history of working in the Indigenous Affairs environment with a focus on Cultural Awareness Training Education facilitation and including Reconciliation Action Plan development, Indigenous Employment Strategy development, Indigenous Community Engagement Strategy development and strong Mentoring capability. Skilled in Coaching, Event Management, Facilitation, Training Delivery and Management.
